The LIVESTRONG Challenge strives to bring people together for a common goal in the fight against cancer. Encourage your friends and family to join your team and ride alongside you in honor of those cancer warriors in your life. If you and your team fundraise for LIVESTRONG, not only are you improving lives, you could qualify for some pretty great incentives.
Once you've created your team, start building it! Let your family, friends, and coworkers know you’re participating in the event and you want them to join you. You don’t all have to participate in the same distance, so encourage them to sign up for any ride distance, or even the 1-Mile Run/Walk. Challenge each other to a friendly competition to see who can raise the most funds for LIVESTRONG, or work together and host a fundraising event. You can earn individual and team fundraising incentives!
Corporate teams are a great way to engage employees and give back to the local community. Create a corporate team for your office and get your coworkers out on the course! There are various fundraising incentives for teams that could double as brand awareness opportunities for your corporation. Please contact us at TEAMLIVESTRONG@LIVESTRONG.org for more information about getting your company registered.
Belong to a cycling club? Why not make the LIVESTRONG Challenge your group ride on this weekend and encourage everyone to join. Please contact us at TEAMLIVESTRONG@LIVESTRONG.org for more information about getting your club registered.
Teams that collectively raise $3,500 or more will earn a team tent in the LIVESTRONG Challenge Village. We will provide your team with a tent, table, chairs and light breakfast on event day.
Teams that collectively raise $5,000 or more will earn a custom team banner on their team tent.
Teams that collectively raise $7,500 or more will start the ride in the VIP wave just behind the Ride for the Roses wave.
The deadline to qualify for team incentives is October 1, 2018.
“Roll up your sleeves and spread the word about our ride. There is a patient out there who needs our help. There is a caregiver who can’t go it alone. And there is a family member or friend who will wake up in the morning with a smile knowing that the LIVESTRONG Foundation is fighting to make their life beautiful.” -Steven Branfman, Captain of Team Kermit
