Teams FAQ

1. How do I send an e-mail out to the entire team that is already registered?

Login into your HQ, click send email to team, then click on your address book, then View by: all team members. Click on the boxes to send the email to your entire team.

2. Can I participate in the LIVESTRONG Challenge as a team with my family and/or friends?

Yes! Team registration for the LIVESTRONG Challenge is available. Each team member must pay the $50 registration fee and meet the fundraising minimum. There is no additional cost to create or join a team.

When you register, you will have the ability to start a team and serve as the team captain or join an existing team. If you opt to register as an individual, you may still create or join a team at any time before the event.

3. What is the advantage to creating/joining a team?

The main advantage of creating or joining a team is the camaraderie of having a group of people to train and fundraise with. While there are no specific financial advantages to creating/joining a team, many people find that their experiences with team members are very rewarding.

4. Can a team consist of both walkers/runners and riders?

Yes! Forming a team is a great way to involve your family, friends and coworkers. Each member of a team can participate in either the run/walk or the ride. Team members do not have to all do the same activity.

5. Can team members participate in different cities?

Unfortunately, no. One team can include walkers, runners and cyclists, but they do all need to participate in the same city. If you wish to have a team in each city, you must create a different team account in every city.

6. If we register as a team, can we fundraise together?

You are welcome to hold fundraising events with your team members. However, each member of your team is responsible for reaching the fundraising minimum.

7. Can someone donate to a team or do all donations have to go to an individual?

All donations do need to be credited to one person's account. Donors can visit an individual's account directly or take a look at the progress of all team members from the team webpage and decide to whom they would like to donate accordingly.
