LIVESTRONG Challenge Ride

Participants-

All parking will be off site at designated satellite parking lots. The parking lots are as follows and will be loaded in such order:

  1. Roger Hanks Park – Located just south on Roger Hanks Parkway off Hwy 290. This lot will be closed when full or at 7AM to allow for the start of the ride. Entry from Hwy 290 will be at Creek Road.
  2. Walnut Springs Elementary School – Located before Dripping Springs Middle School on Sportsplex Road.

To the Drippings Springs HS:
The west bound lane of Hwy 290 from Sportsplex Drive to Bell Springs Rd. will be closed beginning at 4AM creating a specified bike lane which the participants are instructed to ride to the venue.

From Roger Hanks Park – There will be a neutral crosswalk to westbound 290 established for all participants to ensure all movement to the venue follows the flow of traffic.

From Walnut Springs Elementary School – Take a left on Sportsplex Rd. followed by a right onto the closed lane of westbound 290.

Post event, the east bound lane of Hwy 290 from Dripping Springs HS will be closed to Sportsplex Drive with a neutral crosswalk to allow participants to safely cross the street in returning to their vehicle (if parked at Elementary School)

Friends, Family Shuttles-

There will be shuttles provided by the Dripping Springs ISD. The shuttles will be staggered and will circulate to all satellite parking locations and Dripping Springs High School beginning at 4:00AM to 6:00PM. The shuttles are intended to transport friends and family members of the participants.

Volunteers/Sponsors/Media/Vendors-

Volunteers, sponsors, media and vendors will have dedicated parking at the Dripping Springs High School. Please have printed parking passes in hand when you arrive in Dripping Springs. There will be a check point at Hwy 290 and Creek Road where your parking pass will be checked. If you do not have pass then you will not be granted parking access.
